Follow The Directions

01

Step

Gather all your ingredients. (2 minutes)

02

Step

In a heavy 10-inch skillet, heat approximately 1/2 inch of vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 360 degrees F (182 degrees C). Use a thermometer to ensure accurate temperature. (8 minutes)

03

Step

Carefully lower the tortilla triangles into the hot oil in batches, being mindful not to overcrowd the skillet. Fry, turning frequently, until they achieve a beautiful golden-brown hue. (2-3 minutes per batch)

04

Step

Transfer the freshly fried chips to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. (2 minutes per batch)

05

Step

Repeat the frying process with the remaining tortilla triangles until all are transformed into crispy chips. (15-20 minutes)

For extra flavor, consider lightly brushing the tortillas with melted butter or a garlic-infused oil before cutting them into triangles.
Don't overcrowd the pan, or the oil temperature will drop and you'll end up with soggy chips.
Serve warm with your favorite dips, salsas, or guacamole.
