For an extra layer of flavor, toast the cumin seeds in a dry pan for a minute or two before grinding. Adjust the amount of lemon juice to your preference. A high-speed blender can also be used, though you may need to add a tablespoon or two of water to help it blend smoothly. Serve chilled or at room temperature with your favorite dippers. This hummus will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
