In the same wok or skillet, cook bacon over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until cooked through but not crispy. Aim for about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Reserve 1-2 tablespoons of bacon drippings in the wok, discarding the rest. Chop the cooked bacon into small pieces and set aside.

Return the wok to medium-high heat. Add the cooked rice, chicken, bacon, green onions, and soy sauce to the wok. Stir-fry until the mixture is heated through and the flavors have melded together, approximately 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately.

For best results, use day-old cooked rice. This will prevent the fried rice from becoming mushy.
Adjust the amount of soy sauce according to your preference. Taste and season as needed.
Feel free to add other vegetables such as peas, carrots, or corn to customize your fried rice.
