Follow The Directions

01

Step

Prepare Your Pan: Line a 5x7-inch baking dish with parchment paper, ensuring an overhang on all sides for easy removal. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

02

Step

Melt the Chocolate: In a heat-safe bowl set over a simmering pot of water (double boiler), gently melt the chocolate chips, stirring frequently until smooth. Alternatively, microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted. Be careful not to overheat. (Cook time: 3-5 minutes)

03

Step

Combine Ingredients: Remove from heat. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk, Jack Daniel's whiskey, vanilla extract, and sea salt until thoroughly combined and the mixture is glossy. Fold in the toasted pecans. (Mix time: 2-3 minutes)

04

Step

Set the Fudge: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly. Gently tap the dish on the counter to release any air bubbles. Let the fudge set in the refrigerator for a minimum of 3 hours, or preferably overnight, until firm. (Chill time: 3+ hours)

05

Step

Serve: Using the parchment paper overhang, lift the fudge from the pan. Cut into 24 elegant squares and serve. (Serve time: 5 minutes)

For an even richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
To toast the pecans, spread them on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until fragrant and lightly golden.
If you don't have Jack Daniel's, any good quality bourbon or whiskey will work.
Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
