Follow The Directions

01

Step
8 hrs

Freeze Candy Bars: Place the chocolate covered toffee bar and chocolate covered crispy peanut butter flavored candy bar in the freezer and let freeze 8 hours or overnight.

02

Step
15 mins

Prepare the Crust (15 minutes): In a medium bowl, mix together the saltine crackers, graham crackers, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan to make a crust. Chill crust in the refrigerator while you make the filling.

03

Step
10 mins

Make the Filling (10 minutes): In a large bowl, beat together the instant vanilla pudding mix, instant chocolate pudding mix, and milk. Fold in 12 ounces frozen whipped topping. Spread the filling over the prepared crust.

04

Step
5 mins

Top and Chill (5 minutes): Cover the filling with the remaining frozen whipped topping. Crush the frozen chocolate covered toffee bar and chocolate-covered crispy peanut butter flavored candy bar. Sprinkle the dessert with the crushed candy bars. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

For a richer flavor, use whole milk instead of 2% or skim milk.
If you don't have saltine crackers, you can substitute with more graham crackers, or vanilla wafers.
Feel free to experiment with different candy bars to customize the flavor to your liking.

Be careful not to overmix the pudding. You want it to be smooth, but not too runny.

I substituted the peanut butter candy bar with a milk chocolate one and it was still amazing!

I didn't have instant pudding, so I made regular pudding and it worked just as well. It just took a little longer.

My kids loved helping me crush the candy bars. It's a fun dessert to make together.

The crust was surprisingly good with the saltines! A nice change from the usual graham cracker crust.
