Follow The Directions

01

Step

Gently place the eggs in a large saucepan and cover them completely with cold water. Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat, then immediately remove the saucepan from the heat. Cover the saucepan and let the eggs stand in the hot water for precisely 15 minutes. (15 minutes)

02

Step

After 15 minutes, carefully transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool completely before peeling. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Once the eggs are cooled and peeled, slice them in half lengthwise. Gently remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. (3 minutes)

04

Step

Using a fork or a potato masher, mash the yolks until they are smooth and free of lumps. Add the mayonnaise, Sriracha, dry mustard, and cayenne pepper (if using) to the yolks. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and the mixture is creamy. Season with salt to taste. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Transfer the yolk mixture to a piping bag or a resealable plastic bag. If using a plastic bag, snip off a small corner of the bag. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Arrange the egg white halves, cut-sides up, on a serving platter. Pipe the yolk mixture into each egg white half, filling them generously. (5 minutes)

07

Step

Sprinkle the filled deviled eggs with a pinch of smoked paprika for a touch of smoky flavor and visual appeal. (1 minute)

08

Step

Cover the deviled eggs with plastic wrap or store them in an airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving. (30 minutes)

For an extra smooth yolk mixture, consider using a food processor or immersion blender.
Adjust the amount of Sriracha to suit your preferred level of spiciness. Start with a smaller amount and add more to taste.
Garnish with other ingredients like chopped chives, green onions, or a drizzle of extra Sriracha for added flavor and visual appeal.
To prevent the deviled eggs from drying out, store them in the refrigerator with a slightly damp paper towel in the container.
