Follow The Directions

01

Step

Melt the White Coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, empty one bag of white confectioner's coating. Microwave at 50% power for 1 minute. Stir, then continue to microwave in 15- to 30-second intervals until almost completely melted. Let it sit for about 1 minute, then stir until smooth. Reserve the second bag of white coating. (Estimated time: 3-5 minutes)

02

Step

Create the Snowmen: Dunk each chocolate sandwich cookie in the melted white coating, using a fork to ensure complete coverage. Transfer the coated cookie to a parchment-lined baking sheet. While the coating is still wet, place 2 black pearlized sugar sprinkles in the middle for eyes. Position one half of an orange Tic Tac® candy under the eyes for a nose. Arrange 4 more sprinkles in a semi-circle below the nose for the mouth. Repeat for all remaining cookies, melting the second bag of white coating as needed. (Estimated time: 20-30 minutes)

03

Step

Harden the Coating: Place the baking sheet in a cool, dry area to allow the candy coating to harden completely. Avoid placing in the freezer, as this can cause the snowmen to 'sweat'. (Estimated time: 25 minutes)

04

Step

Prepare the Hats: Melt the pink candy melts following the same method as in Step 1. (Estimated time: 3-5 minutes)

05

Step

Add the Hats: Carefully trim any excess chocolate from around each cookie to neaten the edges. Dip the top part of each cookie into the melted pink candy to create a hat. Add a candy-coated milk chocolate piece (M&M®) to the hat for a decorative touch. Place the decorated cookies on a new parchment-lined baking sheet. (Estimated time: 15-20 minutes)

06

Step

Final Hardening: Allow the pink candy to harden completely. Trim off any excess chocolate before serving. (Estimated time: 25 minutes)

For a smoother candy coating, add a teaspoon of vegetable shortening to the candy melts while melting.
If you don’t have Tic Tacs, you can use small pieces of orange-colored candy or sprinkles for the nose.
Store the finished cookies in an airtight container at room temperature to maintain their texture and appearance.
